關於 About
Currently live and work in Hong Kong
// Tumbling in the rhythm of lines //
Yuk Wong graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in Fine Arts with a minor in Chinese Language and Literature. She currently operates an art studio in Kowloon Bay, engaging in continuous creative practice and observation within urban interstices.
Her practice spans painting, printmaking, writing, ink, video, and cross-media performance, navigating between abstraction and figuration. Her work takes human daily life across time as its starting point—including objects, behaviours, activity patterns, ritual practices, and bodily forms—to explore humanity’s position within time, society, and the cosmos.
Her work investigates human conditions, emotional states, and relational tensions, uncovering interactions among people, with their environments, and within themselves, while reflecting on the shared traces and inherent contradictions of humanity as a species. Through this exploration, the collective experiences and contemporary realities of humanity are revealed, offering a broader understanding of the world.
